esides the original Big Band album cut of "People hold on" this 12" contains a gorgeous 60's soul-jazz influenced remix from classy French in vogue's 'Metropolitan Jazz Affair', featuring an elegant trumpet solo by Stephane Ronget which adds even more charme to the song.
The 12" also contains also the CD bonus track (alternate accapella take) which was not available on the "Expansion" vinyl album. Taken from the original studio session this mix is reduced to the essence of the vocal interpretation by Inga L?hning. Simply stunning, and a welcome addition for the vinyl junkies.
The "alternate 12" take" from "Gabrielle" is an analogue, percussive version with a 4 to the floor beat from the "Djembe" to make you move to the wonderful voice of Alice Russell. Brooding but brilliant.
