This summer our friends of the label "das modular" have released the second official Compilation for the Nippon Connection, the largest Japanese film-festival outside of Japan. The anthology "Nippon Connection - Exchanging Tracks" features two Japanese traditionals and 28 electronic re-interpretations of these compositions, produced by artists like 2 Banks of 4, Slope, Break Reform, TM Juke, Sonar Lodge etc. Beside these like-minded friends of us Kosma, Motorcitysoul, Hacienda and Kabuki from the INFRACom! Camp contributed their take on the originals. With the superb music and the special packaging with a magnetic lock the compilation is the perfect collector`s item. The high quality flipbook that displays a sequence of a Kendo-battle is its extraordinary highlight.
